- Despite being unable to repeal/replace Obamacare, congress is taking concrete steps to ensure its destruction, by specifically instructing the IRS not to enforce the individual mandate. Coupled with withholding subsidy payments, this is the primary factor responsible for increasing insurance costs that Republicans so desperately claim they wish to reduce. Hypocrisy, muchly?
- The administration's request for voter data has now been rebuffed by 41 states (and counting).
- There are now zero scientists advising the White House on science policy, and it appears that the administration has no plans of hiring any. This bodes very badly for policy decisions across the board.
- Trump has signed 40 pieces of legislation so far. He's really proud of that, despite the fact that the majority of those are regulatory rollbacks, and the rest are incredibly minor. Here's what they all are.
- We know that the administration has been busy rolling back environmental regulations. Want to see it all in one place? The Guardian has you covered.
