- France has elected Macron as their new President, soundly rejecting the terrifying populism of Le Pen. The world will sleep a little easier tonight, having avoided the trifecta of Brexit, Trump and Le Pen.
- This one is more disturbing though. The EPA has dismissed scientists from a scientific review board, with plans to fill the now-vacant positions with industry representatives from the polluting industry that the board is supposed to monitor. If this isn't the fox guarding the henhouse, tell me what is.
