- There are calls for investigations into Flynn's actions, and for good reason. Republicans aren't interested, probably because they're worried about what else might be dug up.
- Republicans claim leaks illegal and vow crackdown. Despite them being very much in the public interest. You see, the problem isn't that he lied and was involved in shady dealings with a foreign state, the problem is that he was caught.
- Meanwhile, other Republicans are becoming worried about Russian influence in the Whitehouse.
- Speaking of Russia, it's begun violating weapons treaties. This does not bode well.
- The Office of Government Ethics advises that Kellyanne Conway be disciplined over her promotion of Ivanka Trump's brand. We'll see if that actually happens.
- The Whitehouse website has draft versions of executive orders, conflicting with the Federal Register.
- Senate confirms Linda McMahon to lead Small Business Administration. This one wasn't particularly contentious, and most Democrats supported her.
- Republicans voted down a proposal to release Trump's tax returns. Too busy covering their own ass to worry about the bigger picture.
- European nations are worried about inconsistent and worrying signals from the US.
- ICE (immigration officers) backed out of a meeting where they would have had to justify recent deportation crackdowns.
