- Standing Rock has been raided, with all people forcibly evacuated. I am beyond words.
- Trump undoes transgender protections in schools. Claiming it's a state's rights issue? How on earth did protecting a marginalized population become a fucking state's rights issue?
- The administration is still blaming 'paid protestors' (as if that was ever a thing). This time, they're complaining that constituents demanding representation (democracy, right?) are giving their representatives a hard time, attempting to marginalize them by what is tantamount to name-calling. Apparently when the Tea Party does it, it's grassroots, but it's not OK on the other side. Don't forget: constituents are paying the salary of the so-called public servants.
- EPA boss Scott Pruitt is arm-in-arm with the industries he's now supposed to be policing. Nothing we didn't already know, but the email release sure confirms it.
- Federal data continues to disappear. The era of transparency has ended, folks.
- The administration continues to think highly of Guantanamo Bay, AKA depriving people of rights and due process by claiming they're not on US soil.
