- As promised. And the mockery.
- There was actually a minor extremist attack in Sweden earlier this year: by a bunch of neo-Nazis. Not by immigrants.
- Trump is having trouble spinning this one, but decides to blame it on Fox.
- Trump is a compulsive liar. But you already knew that.
- This one isn't official yet, but looks like it's getting that way. The administration plans to greatly expand the categories that will get you deported. Expect official confirmation soon. Particularly heinous: "Instead, migrants who have been charged with crimes but not convicted would be prioritized for deportation." It's far too easy to charge somebody with something. Much harder to convict them.

Day 31: Trump invades IKEA
Last night at Trump's "I need to feel like the people love me" rally, he claimed that Sweden had just had an extremist attack. The world was briefly confused, before realizing that this was the perfect opportunity to mock Trump once again.

Re: "This one isn't official yet" -- it is official in the immigration executive orders. What isn't official is how those orders will be implemented, which is what the leaked memos are about. It's how they will build out the blueprint. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trumps-immigration-order-blueprint-deportation_us_588a600be4b09a2d8f94750b
ReplyDeleteThis is true, I could have worded that better. The unofficial part is just the internal memorandum on how to implement it in ICE policy.
